The business stuff:

In order to have your site on the internet we will provide you with our “All Inclusive” Website Hosting and Management Services (AIHMS) that provides full and regular maintenance/software updating to the WordPress software along with updating plugins. We also include full security and anti hacking services as a part of this. Your site is monitored constantly. Any issues with the up-time of your site will be handled by us. We suggest visiting your site regularly in case there is anything you would like edited. We will provide you info on how to log in and make small changes to text and images. You will also be allotted 15 minutes per month for us to provide these small basic edits for you as needed. Extra time or larger needs are at the regular hourly rate -min 30 min. Your first invoice:
In order to get started on your website project we need to first set up the space and services in which to develop, design and host the website from. The first invoice is sent to you right after this form is filled out and will be for the total amount of $550.00 plus GST. This service is invoiced yearly and renewal invoices are automatically sent by our accounting system every following year to continue your hosting and management services.
We can not set up your hosting space on the server or do anything with the site until the first invoice is paid.

Your second invoice:

The website build/design. The current interiorhomeinspections.ca is a larger size multi page website (7 pages), BUT the design across the site is pretty simple, with the home page being pretty much the only page with more formatting and design. It is also using WordPress with Divi, which is exactly the software I use and have a developer level license for. This is pretty perfect. Normally a large multi-page site would be in the 2.5-3.5K range. I am thinking I can estimate the cost of basically rebuilding the site/pages from scratch so they look pretty much exactly the same can be done (I have already scooped/scraped all the images and text from that site and have it here. It’s just a snapshot, not the code itself though, but it will really help in totally re-creating the website without having to pay them extra. My estimate for this would be in the 1.8 to 2k range…. More than likely in the lower area. The faster and easier it is, the less it will be. 🙂 (My VERY basic simple one page designs start in the 1.5 K range, so you can see that the rate I quoted here is very low for a multipage site, mostly because the design of this site is pretty easy to create from scratch. Not complicated. So I pass that on to you in savings…

(Also, the website is very easily editable, changeable by you yourself, or me as needed once it is online here.)

Project Timeline and final design/development payment:

We strive to complete your project within the first week or two after your signing on. We understand that you may be leading a very hectic and busy life, so we work for you to get your new site online quickly with your input on the project. In some cases we may have your website pretty much done or ready for “live” but we are awaiting more information from you for the final completion of the site. In cases where a project gets into this situation and it is 30 days past the start of the project (your signing this agreement) then the second invoice will be sent for payment due on receipt, and any other text/additions to your site will still be added once you have time to send it in.
